Jacquelyn Drozdoff is from Tucson, USA
Jacquelyn is a seasoned traveller, having explored more than 30 countries across North America, South America, Western Europe, Asia, India, Africa and Australia. She has lived in various parts of North America, the UK and Australia. Her current sojourn is a round the world trip with her husband Leon visiting South America, Western Europe, South East Asia and India over the course of 18 months.
When she’s not travelling, Jacquelyn works as a public affairs consultant advising not-for-profits, government and non-government organisations on government and communications strategy. She has also served as a long-standing volunteer and board member of YWCA NSW, Australia, facilitating forums for young women in Sydney and representing the organization in a variety of international events, including MTV’s 48 Fest project in Nairobi, Kenya.
While they constantly evolve, her interests include: yoga, scuba diving, cooking, reading, movies, volunteering, public speaking, politics, dancing, and swimming. On the road, she particularly enjoys: quad biking, hiking, writing, devouring books in hammocks, beach jogs, watching sunsets and the stars, learning new skills, interacting with locals (especially children) and eating lots of delicious ethnic food.
Her travel philosophy is more about ‘doing, experiencing and interacting’ than ‘seeing the sights’ but she’s not averse to enjoying ‘must do’ guidebook suggestions when the occasion calls for it.
